Sunday 10th December – Christmas Parade and Gift Service
As in previous years, we will be collecting for Whitechapel Mission, which has been serving the homeless and marginalised in its area of London for nearly 150 years. The Mission serves breakfast every day, and also offers showers on weekday mornings with clean clothing, a day centre which opens every day of the year, medical help and advice designed to help people off the streets. They now offer computer access too. All of this is free.
But the numbers turning to them have gone up by 25% and they constantly need help from their supporters. Please could you bring donations of warm clothing and toiletries, which will be collected by Tony Miller on the 13th. They are particularly in need of:
Clothing:
• Towels; Men’s clothing and underwear – all sizes
• Women’s winter clothing
• Woollen hats, scarves and gloves
• Socks
• Sleeping bags and blankets
• Small rucksacks
• Men’s shoes
• Razors and Shaving foam
• Toothbrushes and Toothpaste
• Shampoo
• Shower Gel
• Deodorant
• Moisturiser

Tuesday 19th December, 2.30pm – When Christmas Hurts ….
A Service of Remembrance and Hope
A special service for anyone who wants to pause in the busynes Christmas to remember, to hope, and to pray. We will light candles in memory of those we have loved and lost.
All are welcome – there are leaflets at the back of the church – please take one to pass on to any friends who may appreciate this time of quiet and reflection.
!!!!!If you are able to help to welcome any visitors, or to serve tea, coffee and mince pies after the service, please let Alison know.
