The date of this meeting was briefly moved to 8th Feb but is now back again at 1st)

Please read the following notice from the Secretary about the coming Church Meeting: Every 5 years the Church is expected to review its constitution. The Elders have carried out a review and made

some minor changes to our Constitution, which now need to be approved at the Church meeting on 1st February 2026. Since the Constitution runs to 12 pages we propose to only share with you and

ask you to approve the few changes we have made; you will be given a sheet showing these changes. However, if you need to read the

full document it will be available on the Church notice board or can be sent to you by email on request.

Please note also that Elders’ Election papers will be given out at this meeting.

Elders’ Meeting: Elders’ meetings are usually held every 6 weeks.

The next meeting will be on Tuesday 24th February 2026 at 9.30am.

Jo Patterson – return visit on Saturday 7th February: You will

remember the visit which Jo Patterson paid us last year to assist us

in developing some ideas for our mission and our way forward. This

has led us to embark on a number of new ventures including the very new Warm Space.

Jo will be returning to see us on 7th February at 10.00am to see how things can be taken further and everyone is asked to attend if at all possible. This is your church and an opportunity for your voice to be heard. So please do come –

Saturday 7th February, 10.00am, meeting in the church, coffee

and biscuits – and cake! - will be available

Mounthurst Trust: Following a decision of the last Church Meeting,

there will be a meeting of current and potential trustees on Thursday 5th February at 7.00pm in the church.

Warm Space: On Thursday January 8th we had our first Warm

Space lunch. We were pleased to welcome 5 non members and 3

Church members attending and 3 greeting and serving. On Thursday 15th, a very wet day, we were thrilled to welcome 15 non members - they thoroughly enjoyed the lovely home made soup and cakes and there was a really comfortable atmosphere with everyone chatting. In fact we ran out of soup it was so popular! We would love. more help to either serve, bake cakes, or come and chat to our guests. If you are willing to help please let Alistair know and he can add you to his rota - every little helps. Maggie
