Men's Group
All men are welcome to the meetings of this group, which are held in the evening, usually on the third Thursday of each month. They include a range of activities, each one organised by a different member, and the contact for more information is Bill Bowman on 07905 499815 - or see the church website. To start 2026 off in a jovial note, eleven of us met up at The George in Old Hayes. This was arranged by Chris Wood. After a couple of throat lubricants we sat down to a lovely three course meal and further drinks which we all enjoyed. It was so nice to get together again after our usual one month break in December. There were the normal interactions and exchange of jokes and funny stories. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we didn't notice the pub empty out entirely and we were the last ones to leave.
Our next meeting is on Thursday 19th February in the small church hall where I (Chris F.) will be hosting my usual annual music quiz. 8 p.m. start. Everyone is welcome! Bring your own drinks. I will be supplying the nibbles.
