Churches Together in Hayes Lent Course

This year, we will be joining with Coney Hill Baptist Church on Tuesday evenings at 8pm.  We will be reflecting on our faith using the Confidence Course from the London Institute of Contemporary Christianity (LICC).  

The material will encourage us to grow in confidence, so that we are better able to live out and share our faith in our day-to-day lives.  The six sessions cover:

1.   Confidence through being convinced

2.   Confidence through community

3.   Confidence through compassion

4.   Confidence through consistency

5.   Confidence through competence

6.   Confidence through courage

The course comes with optional daily readings, and opportunities to reflect during the week.

Lent Material from Bromley URC

Elaine (Rev Dr Elaine Colechin) and Stephen (Stephen Fellingham) at Bromley URC are producing daily readings and reflections for Lent and Holy Week, which we can use at home.  These will help us to think more about the readings set for each Sunday, and to grow in faith as we delve deeper into the texts.
